Friday night the Sassy City Chicks hosted an event at Fort Mason in the city. They had clothing, jewelry, and accessories vendors as well as some
interesting cocktail sampling, complimentary hair and make-up services, and a professional photography station. True to my nature I couldn't leave empty handed {bought some bracelets!} and I was excited to discover an amazing new jewelry line {
Aknot}. We also took home tote bags filled with fun goodies like panties, soyjoy bars, and softlips. Overall I was a little underwhelmed by the event; we had a great time and I shouldn't complain since everything was free, but since I've attended Shecky's Girls Night Out {a very similar event thrown at Fort Mason} a few times, I can't help but compare the two. Shecky's always has at least twice the amount of vendors, better drinks, and better tote bags. Hopefully Sassy City Chicks will amp up their next event. Regardless--shopping, drinks, spa services, and girlfriends are always a great combination!

You looked so cute! Too bad we didn't see each other! Also, I agree, there wasn't enough going on for how big the space was.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both of you! I was so underwhelmed. The pictures from last Spring, made it look like there were so many more vendors and people. There were two tiny cocktails to try and they weren't very good at all. At least I had a lot of fun at Off the Grid before we went in!
