This Spring I've been loving all sorts of bright colors! I have to admit I hated a lot of neon pieces I was seeing before but I've warmed up to them and have definitely been embracing this trend. Although I still can't help but think I'm going to have a daughter one day who will look back at these pictures and ask what in the world I was thinking wearing pants that look like a highlighter!

High Tea

 A while back I came across a blog[which I can't seem to find now] with an idea to 'propose' to your bridesmaids with a ring pop. I knew that I wanted to find a creative and memorable way to ask my ladies and [yum!] I love ring pops so this was perfect! I decided to throw my bridesmaids a Tea Party to officially propose to them :-). Our local tea room wasn't open on the date we could all get together so we turned my living room into 'Kubiak Manor' and I invited my ladies over for High Tea! I had a blast hanging with my best friends and was so excited to officially ask them to be a part of my wedding! Love you girls!

Lo Lo Lo Lo

Ever since I started my blog I've been telling my sister that I want her to let me style her and have her do a guest blog. I don't know what her deal is ;-) but she's been pretty resistant. Finally I at least coerced her into posing for a few pictures while we were in the city a couple of weeks ago and I think they turned out pretty great! I kind of LOVE her top and how cool it looks contrasted against this much tagged wall.

 So, blogger friends and readers, I am pleased to introduce you to my MOH, my best friend, my 'Lo Lo', my 'twin', and little sister, Miss Lauren.

I absolutely love all of the bright colors I've been seeing in stores lately and for some reason the stripes and bright colors in this outfit had me thinking of Sue Ellen Crandell. Remember her...Sue Ellen Crandell who took on the head of household while her mom was out of town and the babysitter died? One of my favorite parts of that movie was always the big party at the end with the super coloful uniform fashion show. Of course when I tracked down a video of the fashion show I realized why I was reminded of this movie...apparently my top is the much younger cousin of the referee uniform that Sue Ellen designs. Leprechauns, Pots of Gold, Corned Beef & Cabbage, Green Beer....what's not to love about St. Patrick's Day?! I celebrated this year with St. Patrick's Day High Tea at the English Rose Tea Room nestled in the super quaint downtown Pleasanton. Irish tea and Cucumber Mint Sandwiches were scrumptious of course and we did a bit of walking around before I found the perfect spot to snap some photos of my St. Patty's Day green garb!

How did you celebrate the Holiday?? Amongst many Pots of Gold I hope!
