The Best Farmer's Market Around

 I am a huge fan of Farmer's Markets, I love the fruit, I love the fresh veggies, I love the people, I love the baked goods....I love it all! Lucky for me every summer my hometown hosts THE best Farmer's Market around. There's usually live music, there's family night with games for kids and {my favorite & the busiest night} every third Thursday is Thirsty Thursday with wine tasting. The only Farmer's Market I have been to that came close to this caliber was the Malibu Farmer's Market, and the fact that Tori Spelling was there really upped it's coolness factor{in my book!}
Today I saw a stand at the Farmer's Market that I have never seen before; they had Lemon Basil, Cinnamon Basil, Sweet Basil, and other unique varieties of herbs. Immediately I thought of the Strawberry Basil cocktail I had this past weekend, so I bought Cinnamon Basil and Strawberries and then headed to the grocery store for the alcohol. They didn't have all of the ingredients I needed, plus I have been dying to try the Skinnygirl Margarita, so I decided to improvise. The result wasn't as amazing as the real thing so I'll have to do it again with the right ingredients, but it was definitely refreshing on such a warm summer evening!
